How to get the Maximum Amount of Attendees to a Party

How to get people to come to your party

Some people like to have really big parties with a lot of people, and if you are looking to have a big party but do not know too many people there are ways for you to throw a huge blow-out and have a bunch of attendees.

If you are stumped on ideas about how to make your party bigger, here are some tips that will be able to help you out and make your party a party to remember.

For those of you who do not know too many people, your friends are sure to know people as well, which can instantly double the amount of people that will come to your party!

Email all of your friends in your address book and tell them what you are looking to do and what you want, ask them if they have any extra friends that might want to come to a party.  Going to your friends first, is going to be one of your best bets, everyone knows someone.

Now, getting online and inviting all of your online friends as well as their friends might be a good idea, but depending on the location of the party you might want to be bit on the careful side.

Inviting people that you may not know too well or at all, may open up your night to a world of problems instead of a world of fun.

The internet is a great source to get a hold of people though, so as long as you are a bit careful and you know what you are doing, you can definitely increase the amount of people at your party!

If you are still having some trouble, then look into hiring a party planner of some sort.  Party planners are trained to do what you need done.  Party planners know where to find people and how to get people to a party, so if you are looking to have a huge blowout and you have a big budget, then look into a party planner.

If you do not have too much to spend, then ask people from your work.  You can send out a mass work email and let people know what your plans are.

Getting people to come to your party may not be as hard as you might think. You need to know where there are a mass amount of people and then you need to tackle that. The very first thing that you want to do is turn to your friends.  Tell you friends you want to have a huge party with a lot of people and tell them to invite all of their friends.

Once you tap that source, then look to talking to people at work and letting them know what is going on.  If you are still having a hard time, then you might want to look into a party planner and sending out some fliers to get the word out.  Once you get the word out, you will be on your way to having a huge party!

Why you Should not Post your Party on Facebook!

Do not post your party on facebook

Internet websites such as Myspace and Facebook are great sites for getting in touch with old friends as well as making new friends.

Facebook is a great site because you can get updates on your friends, and you chat and tell everyone else what you are doing.  But, if you are thinking about having a party at your house, you might want to think twice about posting your party plans on Facebook, here's why:

The first thing that you need to take into consideration is how many people that will actually be able to see this Facebook party posting.

Party postings and invites are not typically private on Facebook which means anyone who is a friend of one of your friends is going to be able to see the posting and make it a point to come to your house.

Now, one or two extra people may not be such a problem, but having about 30-40 extra people might be a problem, not only for you but for the neighbourhood as well.

Now, you are probably thinking that you can just write in the post that friends may not bring friends to the party, but who is really going to follow that rule?

Many things get looked over when it comes to parties, people get excited and just simply do not read the directions.  You may have stressed no extra people, but if you post on Facebook, you will have many extra people, so just keep that one in mind.

Another great reason why you should stay away from posting a party on Facebook is privacy.  When you set up an invitation on Facebook, you have to be able to give directions to the location of the party and if the location of that party is your house, do you really want to be putting your address and directions to your place on the Internet.

Putting your information on the Internet is just as good as being asked to be robbed.  Instead of posting the information on Facebook, send the directions to your friends in private emails or private messages, that way it is not available for the entire world to see!

While Facebook might be a great way to get the word out about a party, it is not always the smartest thing to do.  If you are trying to be safe and you want to protect yourself but still have a good time, stay away from posting any sort of events on Facebook, or the Internet for that matter.

The Internet is a great place to meet new people and to get a lot of information, but the fact of the matter is, the internet is not as safe as we might think.  Posting party information on Facebook is going to open your house up to a world of problems and possibly some trouble.  So, be smart and send out the invitations privately, use email or send private messages.

How to Keep your Friends from Trashing your House

If you are planning a party and you are planning on having the party at your house, you might be feeling a little bit nervous about having a whole bunch of people at your house.  There are some precautions that you can take before you throw your big party, as long as you follow these simple tips, you are going to be in good shape!

Stop your house being trashedBefore you actually throw your party, you need to "party proof" your entire house.  This means that you need to put away all items that could potentially be broken and all valuables that could be stolen.  When it comes to throwing parties, you may have invited 15-20 people and about 40 people might actually show up.

We all know the drill, friends invite friends, who invite friends.  Some of these people that come to your house and come to your party, you may not have ever met, so they may not be as trustworthy as you might think.

The smartest thing that you can do is put the glasses under the bed or in a box, and hide the jewellery.

People tend to assume that the term trashing always means things are getting broken, how about the house being a huge mess when the morning comes.  If you do not want to have a huge mess to clean up in the morning then prepare!

Make sure that you set out plenty of garbage cans and garbage bags so that people can throw away their empty bottles in a trash bag, instead of on the floor or counter.

If you do not want to have to do dishes all morning, then replace all of your cups and glasses with plastic cups.  Plastic cups may cost some money, but think about the time you are going to save in the morning when you are cleaning up!

The bottom line here is, no one wants to wake up after a party and see that their entire home is trashed.  If you are planning a party for you and your friends then you need to make sure that you plan for a bit of a mess, but you hide all of the breakables and things that could potentially cause a huge mess.

If you have any pets such as a dog or a cat, then you might just want to keep them in your room while the party is going on.  Close off all of the rooms to your home, lock them from the inside if you can, this way you will know what is going on at all times while the party is going on.

Being smart about your party is going to help you immensely, and in the morning after the party you are going to have just a few messes to clean up around the house and then the rest of the day is going to be yours.  Be smart and be prepared, this is the only thing that you can do to protect your home from being trashed.
