It is not too expensive neither you need to put great affords to host it. To hold a barbecue you need: a grill, some meat, some alcohol and non alcohol beverages, some side dish and probably some salads. Many people like having hamburgers or hot-dogs and beer for their barbecue. The high-point of the barbecue may become a sucking-pig broiled on the grill.

Cocktail Engagement Party

The other variant of the Engagement Party is a cocktail party. It needs less time to prepare dishes for it. Indeed everything you need for such a party you can buy at the supermarket. The main accent of the cocktail party is made on the beverages while food plays the dominant role at the barbecue.

To have a worthy cocktail party you should have: some champagne (at least red and white kinds of it); some kinds of wine (The situation with wine is more difficult then with champagne. You need some red pop wine and some white pop wine, some semisweet red wine and some semisweet white wine, and at last some dry red wine, and some dry white wine); Martini; some liquors; some hard drinks (vodka, brandy, whisky, tequila, absinthe etc).
